Costs

Know who pays

The NC fee page lists $140 for the initial written or oral plus skills registration, $40 for a single written or oral test, and $100 for a single skills test. These are exam fees paid to Credentia. Recheck the page before payment.

Ask your training program or employer about a voucher. Credentia explains when a qualifying Medicare or Medicaid funded nursing facility must pay or reimburse training and testing costs. Keep receipts.
